In the coming weeks, Christian Zacharias is traveling internationally. On September 16th and 17th in the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie, and again in the Friedrich-Ebert-Halle on September 18th, he conducts the Philharmonic State Orchestra Hamburg in a program of Schoenberg, Haydn, and Mozart. On October 10th, Christian Zacharias will be performing in Moscow with a Mozart program at Moscow International Performing Arts Center and then on to France where he will perform on the 19th and 20th as guest at the Orchester National de Lyon. On October 29th, he thrills audiences at the Queen Elizabeth Hall as conductor of the English Chamber Orchestra. The program focuses on works by the composers of the Viennese School supplemented by Schoenberg, whereby Zacharias will also be heard as a pianist.
