In his current recitals, Christian Zacharias particularly enjoys focusing on the two French composers François Couperin and Francis Poulenc. Although 200 years separate them, their compositions share significant common elements, which Christian Zacharias is able to reveal in an interwoven half of the concert. Before that, he also presents some Bach and Haydn.
He will perform this program next Sunday in Lutry, Switzerland, and then a week later in Neuhardenberg, Brandenburg.
