In the coming weeks Christian Zacharias will be presenting exciting projects throughout Europe as a conductor and soloist. On November 9th and 10th in Bilbao, he presents masterpieces of Viennese classical music with Haydn and Mozart, as well as Poulenc’s neoclassical Sinfonietta from 1948. From November 16th to 18th, Christian Zacharias will embark on a short journey through music history with the Gothenburg Symphony again shedding light on different musical epochs with Haydn, Schumann and Webern. On December 2nd in Ankara, Christian Zacharias conducts the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra with Haydn’s Symphony No. 49, Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 14 and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2. Zacharias gives the music space to unfold its inner greatness, his interpretation full of subtle musical wisdom and history of convincingly elaborate performances.
